Good morning everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing, cool weekend with this nice weather. We are adding two classes this week, and the plan is to keep adding classes every two weeks or so until we've found the right balance. Currently some of the level 1 classes are very packed, so our focus is on accommodating those. If you are unable to RSVP for a class because it is full, please let us know so that we realize it's an especially popular time. Details below, and we'll see you on the mats!

1) There is a new level 1 class Sundays at 2:30pm.

2) We will have a level 1 workshop* on Saturday September 26 at 12:00pm, and a level 3 workshop on October 3, also at 12:00

3) There is a new level 2 class on Thursdays at 6:30pm, starting on September 24th, a week from today. Besides giving level 2 students another chance to train, that should help alleviate the crowding in the Thursday 5:30pm class

4) It's easy to lose track, but Krav Maga Raleigh's 12th anniversary is next month! We will have an anniversary cookout on Saturday October 10th at 12:00pm, featuring the famous KMR donut burgers! More information coming for that as it draws closer, but for now please save some time on your calendar and we'll see you there!

*What's the difference between a workshop and a review? Typically workshops cover a section of the curriculum with detailed teaching and corrections, and it takes several workshops to cover all of the material in a level. Reviews are mock tests, where students demonstrate that they are qualified to take the actual test. Those cover all of the material and have minimal instruction. Currently as we are catching up from six months of reduced or absent training, the line between reviews and workshops is more blurry.
