We offer both one day workshops and six week progressive courses. The material covered in Women’s Self Defense classes is taken from the standard, comprehensive Krav Maga curriculum, selected for techniques which are most relevant to women. Classes are taught by Cassie Rhodes, our lead women’s instructor, and assisted by male instructors who will help give more realistic attacks (and take a little bit of a beating as well!)
Women’s Self Defense Workshops are two hour classes held on the last Saturday of every month from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. These workshops teach basic striking and defenses against common attacks. The curriculum covered in each workshop is independent of previous workshops, so someone who comes to multiple workshops will see some new material at each one.
*Please note: There is no workshop in May as we are closed on Memorial Day weekend
The Women’s Self Defense Series is a six-week series of one hour classes once a week. Each lesson builds on the previous lesson to give a comprehensive basic course in self-defense.
