Women’s Self Defense at Krav Maga Raleigh
Krav Maga Raleigh offers both one day workshops and six week progressive courses exclusively for women. The material covered in Women’s Self Defense classes is taken from the standard, comprehensive Krav Maga curriculum, selected for techniques which are most relevant to women. Classes are taught by Cassie Rhodes, our lead women’s instructor, and assisted by male instructors who will help give more realistic attacks (and take a little bit of a beating as well!).
Women’s Self-Defense Workshops
Women’s Self Defense Workshops are two hour classes held on the last Saturday of every month from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. These workshops teach basic striking and defenses against common attacks. The curriculum covered in each workshop is independent of previous workshops, so someone who comes to multiple workshops will see new material at each one. Click here to register for a workshop!
Women’s Self-Defense Series
The Women’s Self Defense Series is a six-week series of one hour classes once a week. Each lesson builds on the previous lesson to give a comprehensive basic course in self-defense. In just a few weeks you will learn fundamental striking techniques, defenses against common attacks like chokes, hair pulls, and bear hugs, and advanced material like defending yourself from the ground and dealing with multiple attackers. The series is also a great workout and you will finish the six weeks feeling better, stronger, and more confident than you thought possible! To register for the series, click here.
