In casual conversation with my friends lately, it seems we are all shocked that the year is halfway over already. One of the many things that has been sneaking up on us is a big renovation and rearrangement at KMR. In about a month, we are planning to move all of the Krav Maga Raleigh classes upstairs, and have Gracie Raleigh come downstairs. We'll still have access to the downstairs of course, but classes will be upstairs. This move will really help clean up the upstairs, and we won't be stepping all over each other switching classes and mats.
The current plan is to start doing some light work next week, mostly getting new equipment ordered and moving a few things around upstairs. The big move is schedule for the week and weekend around July 4th. Since we'd close for a day or two anyway, we'll plan to close from the 4th through the end of the week and do all our big moves then. Like any project involving construction, there will likely be delays and unforeseen issues to deal with, so I'll go ahead and thank everyone in advance for their patience with us over the next two months as everything comes together. Our main goal is to minimize the interruption of classes, so you may have a class or two in a slightly unfinished space, but we will keep the doors open as much as possible.
