As you have heard, this Saturday is Krav Maga Raleigh's annual beach trip. We'll take our Krav Maga out to the sand an the water and find out just how versatile it is. We'll meet at the Pier at Carolina Beach, it's not too hard to find but here are some detailed directions:

Directions:
Take I-40 all the way East.
I-40 becomes College Rd for about ten miles, then becomes Carolina Beach Rd for about seven miles. Just keep going straight more or less.
Turn left on Carl Winner Dr, then left on Canal Dr. You are now driving with the ocean on your right side.
From there you basically drive to the end of the road. There is a parking lot right at the beach, you will need cash. I think it was $10 last year, but it may have increased. The Pier is pretty big and hard to miss, we'll meet in front of it at 11.
So far the weather forecast is promising, but in the event of rain or storms, we'll push the trip back a week, so stay tuned.
Bring water, food, sunscreen, and anything else you'd want for a day at the beach. We'll train for a good few hours, but there will be time after to throw footballs or whatever else you kids are doing for fun these days.
