[caption id="attachment_2394" align="alignnone" width="300"] Our trip is a lot bigger, of course[/caption]
At Krav Maga Raleigh, we like to mark the end of Summer with a training trip to Carolina Beach, where we take our Krav skills and apply them to the hostile environment of sand and water. Sand is a terrific training challenge: It's course, it's rough, and it gets everywhere. So we'll start by doing striking and self-defense drills on the beach, then move into the water for some aquatic training. One of Krav Maga's big successes is developing techniques that work in a variety of situations, and you'll find out firsthand how many of the moves you do on the mats also work underwater. It's a unique, exhilarating training experience, and we've always had a great time on past trips. We're going on October 4th, meeting at Carolina Beach at 11:00am. The trip is free, but we do want to get a headcount, so please register online or up front at Krav Maga Raleigh. Let us know if you have any questions about it, and I hope we will see you on the beach!
