We had a crazy day at Krav Maga Raleigh, with not one but TWO tests: Level 2 in the morning and level 4 in the afternoon. Just to be clear: Quintin has already passed this test.[/caption] Elliot, Zach, and Scott did a great job on their level 2 test. Quintin put them through almost three hours of drills, but they came out the other side looking great. The level 2 test is a pretty significant step up from the level 1 test, and having a group of three often means that you get put through more complex drills and scenarios then when we have even numbers and everyone is just partnered up. Congratulations guys, you should be very proud of yourselves. [caption id="attachment_2431" align="alignnone" width="400"]Well, at least two of them are happy! Well, at least two of them are happy![/caption] Just half an hour later we started the level 4 test, where Juan, Terry, Jason, and Charles had to show everything they've learned in three or four years of training. The level 4 test includes empty hand defenses, gun, stick, knife, multiple attackers, and sparring. There's a tremendous amount of material to know, and the stress level is through the roof. The earlier tests generally follow a format of: Technique, technique, technique, drill, repeat; the Level 4 test is more like the opposite. It's incredibly grueling physically and mentally, and it shows amazing toughness to get through it. Congratulations to these guys for all their hard work, and thank you to everyone who came to support and help with both tests. See everyone next week!
