We have some big changes in the works for the rest of the year at Krav Maga Raleigh. After almost a year and a half, I've realized the holding two classes at once is impractical. The noise from one class interferes with the other, and neither mat is quite big enough to hold a large class. So we are going to take one training area away and expand the other one. This will lead to a completely new schedule of course, which should be released in the next day or two, and some fairly significant redesigning of the upstairs. The new schedule will be released shortly. In related news, our downstairs tenets are moving out by the end of the year, which means we are moving in. Those members that have been with us for a few years have seen us bounce between the two floors in all kinds of different arrangements, and it will be nice to finally have both floors entirely to ourselves. With the new space downstairs we will hang up punching bags and open a fully featured fitness program, centered around cardio bag classes and incorporating equipment-based strength and conditioning as well. It's most likely that the changes upstairs will happen over Thanksgiving break, when we will be closed for a few days and have time to do some redesign. Gracie Raleigh downstairs is planning to move out in early-mid December. If possible we will make the changes upstairs sooner so that we have a few weeks for those to settle in before we get busy downstairs. We will do our best to keep you updated in ASAP. In the meantime, thank you to everyone for you support, and we should all be excited for January 1st, when the new and improved Krav Maga Raleigh will kick off in full swing!
